The nearest airport is Shillong Airport (Umroi), about 30 km from Shillong. Many travelers also use Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati, around 125 km away, which offers better connectivity to major Indian cities.

Meghalaya has no major railway station. The nearest railhead is Guwahati Railway Station in Assam, from where taxis and buses are available to Shillong and other destinations.
