Agra district is located in the southwestern part of Uttar Pradesh along the Yamuna River. It has mostly flat alluvial plains, fertile agricultural land, and a semi-arid climate. The district is well connected to neighbouring districts and forms an important part of the Braj region.
Climate
Agra experiences a semi-arid climate with hot summers, a monsoon season from July to September, and cool winters. Summer temperatures can exceed 45°C, while winter temperatures may drop below 10°C. The most pleasant weather is from October to March.
